Flite Extreme Husaberg Racing Team
The Italian team founded by Marco “Karibo” Caribotti that took Graham Jarvis to the top of Extreme Enduro, first on Sherco and then on the Husaberg TE 300.
About us
A small team taking on the big ones
Team Flite was born in 2005 from an idea of Marco Caribotti, known to everyone as “Karibo”, a former motocross and enduro rider who finished 2nd in the Italian Cup (Coppa Italia) E3 class that same year. The fliteworld.it domain was already online by May 2006 under the name “Flite World”, and in 2006 Federico Bugliano won the Italian Cup E3 class in the team's colours.
From late 2008 Flite worked with Graham Jarvis, a former trials champion, in Extreme Enduro: racing, management and training in Italy. In September 2010 Jarvis moved from Sherco to Husaberg, and on 1 October 2010 the Flite Extreme Husaberg Racing Team was announced, with the brand-new Husaberg TE 300 two-stroke.
In November 2012 the team announced its withdrawal from Extreme Enduro, and Caribotti brought Jarvis into the official Husaberg team for 2013. Team Flite carried on until the end of 2014 and signed off with Caribotti's overall win at the Krka Rally.

“The team was excellent as well, it was good to come into an experienced team. There was no looking back.”

After racing
Goldentyre
After the Flite era in Extreme Enduro came to an end, Marco Caribotti became the owner of Goldentyre, the off-road tyre brand based in Massa: in 2013 and 2014 he was its Race Manager and head of R&D, and from 2015 its owner (a 2017 interview with Pneusnews dates the acquisition to December 2014); today he is also its Chairman of the Board. Goldentyre had already backed Team Flite during the Jarvis years. In 2017 the FTS, Flite Tubeless System was launched, and it still carries the Flite name.
Goldentyre is a separate company from Team Flite.
